2013 NHL Entry Draft

The 2013 NHL Entry Draft was the 51st NHL Entry Draft. All seven rounds of the draft took place on June 30, 2013 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The top three selections were Nathan MacKinnon, Aleksander Barkov, Jr. and Jonathan Drouin.
==Eligibility==
Ice hockey players born between January 1, 1993, and September 15, 1995,〔http://lastwordonsports.com/2013/05/31/connor-hurley-2013-nhl-draft-player-profile-50/〕 were eligible for selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Additionally, un-drafted, non-North American players born in 1992 were eligible for the draft; and those players who were drafted in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, but not signed by an NHL team and who were born after June 30, 1993, were also eligible to re-enter the draft.
